We are looking for an experienced Application Developer to help us advance our mission to Zillow 2.0! You will be a key contributor to your team, leading the way on the most important initiatives, designs, and operational events. You will coordinate closely with outstanding development and analyst teams within Enterprise Applications and across Zillow Core Tech to deliver holistic solutions across multiple services. You will author effective architectures, deliver critical bodies of code, and shepherd the quality of the team’s outputs.
As a Senior Application Developer, you will:
Lead cross-functional architecture and design
Drive strategic initiatives
Design, build, deliver, and support critical technical solutions in Workday Financials, Zuora, Domo, Boomi, other SaaS products, and custom applications.
Deliver and manage API-based integrations to automate critical processes.
Grow a sophisticated federation of third-party tools into a cohesive, mature, and scalable platform.
Continually improve system performance and reliability.
8+ years of experience designing, developing, and integrating SaaS solutions for billing, payments, or other finance processes.
Strong ownership, excellent communication, and collaboration skills across functions and levels. Focus on continuous improvement.
Experience in full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Experience in Agile methodology
Experience with object oriented programming (Java, Python, C# or similar).
Experience in AWS, MS-SQL, MySQL, SQS, and JSON.
Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL or other databases.
