POSITION SUMMARY
KKR is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. This role offers exciting opportunities for growth and impact as KKR scales its business and continues to innovate. This is an onsite role from our Gurugram office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identity Lifecycle Management – Managing the entire lifecycle of identities onboarding and offboarding.
- Policy Management and evaluation – clearly understands both industry accepted access policy practices and company compliance policy around the control of access to systems and authorization.
- Federated Identity Management: SSO – Implementing and managing SSO solutions for multiple applications and systems for both on-premises and in Cloud. Utilizing Open Standards protocols such as SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect, SCIM to enable and manage federated identity.
- Stake Holder Collaboration: Cross-functional teams’ collaboration with internal and external stake holders.
- Support Mechanism - Integrating IAM solutions with helpdesk systems and providing self-service portals for users to manage identities (SNOW). Managing Level 1, Level 2 support requests.
Current, hands-on experience to carry out the following:
- Gathering business requirements and translating them to high and low level designs
- Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Saviynt configurations and administration
- IAM Directory experience with LDAP, Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect Sync/Cloud Sync
- Deploying global security policies across regions
- High Availability design and deployments
- Experience supporting and maintaining IAM solutions in AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM integrations and other standards-based security protocols
- Experience with IAM and IGA uses cases including Lifecycle Management, Access/Entitlements reviews, certification campaign, Role-based Access Control.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, PowerShell scripting
- Providing on-call support
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of combined work experience in IAM Program, ideally in companies of different sizes with experience working in different roles with different technologies and products.
- Understanding of core principles of how modern infrastructure technologies operate (such as virtualization of computing and networking, containers, cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS etc) and the security aspects of these technologies
- Solid understanding of the operation of directory services.
- Knowledge of common security principles, concepts, and in IAM governance
- Ability and desire to code, script and automate to improve own and team's operational efficiency.
- Understanding of aspects of application delivery in principle and RBACs
- Practical knowledge of Windows (including Active Directory) and Linux environments
- Team-player who enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment and is an active contributor as part of a global team
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines and solve problems requiring creativity, initiative and drive; self-motivated and enjoys a sense of pride in their accomplishments
- Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly, business-friendly and technical language.
