What You Will Do:

  • As a member of the client segment Energy Sustainability and Infrastructures you will consult clients in various parts of their value chain.
  • You will work on diverse assignments that may vary from corporate strategy, re-organisation and go to market strategy, decarbonisation pathways for transport, industry and heat, net-zero business model opportunities, regional whole system solutions across electricity and gas, digital innovation, hydrogen conversion, renewable markets and offshore grid development,
  • You will be responsible for data gathering and analysis, industry research, writing reports, winning tenders, inspiring clients and presenting your findings to the team. 
  • In this role you will learn, be challenged and develop skills at a fast pace.
  • In addition to hands-on experience, formal training programmes will teach you the diverse skills you need to succeed.
  • You will contribute to complex projects and will learn about project management by managing smaller projects.
  • You are expected to transition rapidly into a professional energy consultant.


What You Will Need:

  • Business or Engineering School (Cat A, HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, INSEAD, X, CentraleSupelec, Mines) or International University degree with a focus on (energy) economics, (energy) business management, engineering, science, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred first knowledge of power or gas supply systems, grid integration of decentralised sources, digitalisation of the energy sector and/or power markets
  • 1-3 years working experience in related fields or in Strategy and Management Consulting
  • Enjoy working with others; personal initiative and ideas are highly welcome
  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Passion for sustainability, innovation and personal development.
  • A strong team-player who demonstrates the willingness and ability to work effectively in diverse teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
  • A critical thinker with a strong eye for detail and creative in problem solving
  • You are familiar with one or more elements of the electricity and gas value chains
  • Able to show a working knowledge of data collection, organisational and analytical skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects and show a good understanding of the project objectives and client expectations
  • Comfortable communicating and willing to be coached in presenting to colleagues and clients
  • Entrepreneur spirit, you will participate to the growth of French and European market
  • Experienced and skilled with PowerPoint and Excel, and analytics solutions (R or Python) is a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally where possible
  • French native speaker or French bilingual, Ability to work fluently in English (written and spoken), Fluency in other languages such as Dutch, German or Spanish is a bonus.



What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • A strong curiosity, and/or experience, in a relevant industry topic such as: sustainability, the hydrogen economy, advanced energy technologies, renewable energy, distributed generation, electricity generation, power / or gas sales
  • Proven extracurricular activities and/or international experience, preferably with relevant internship or some related work experience
