What You Will Do:

  • Create, modify, and tune SQL queries and PL\SQL code

  • Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages using Oracle 11g or newer

  • Participate in production implementations working closely with other members of the production support group to ensure the proper transition of system changes into the production environments

  • Perform general technical trouble shooting & give consultation to development teams

  • Data analysis and debugging with a focus on identifying data quality issues

  • Create & maintain technical documentation including system diagrams & operational procedures

  • Perform database tuning & performance monitoring

  • Support peer reviews



What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an additional FOUR (4) years equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Minimum of FIVE (5) years of job-related experience as an Oracle Database Developer

  • Ability to create, modify, and tune SQL queries and PL\SQL code

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data, system performance issues

  • Experience in and success with Agile software development methodologies, especially Scrum or Kanban

  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

  • Knowledge and experience of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL (triggers, procedures, functions and packages), SQL Developer and SQL Loader.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and listening skills

  • Strong teamwork, planning, and coordination skills

  • Self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines

  • Ability to work effectively with minimal direction

  • A full understanding of the software development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall)

  • Ability to independently research and resolve difficult technical problems in a complex IT environment with local and remote groups


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Knowledge with AWS cloud technologies like RedShift and Matillion ETL is a plus

  • Knowledge of AWS

The annual salary range for this position is $87,100.00-$130,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
