The individual will be a member of the Liquidity Management (LM) group within Citi’s Corporate Treasury. LM is responsible for measuring, managing, and reporting liquidity risk across the firm in a consistent and transparent manner and within a well-established risk appetite. It partners with businesses and functions across the firm to establish and implement initiatives to improve Citi’s liquidity profile and related risk management processes. LM interfaces with Citi’s Asset and Liability Committees, Legal Entity and Business Treasurers, Regional and Local Market Risk Managers, Business Managers, Independent Risk Oversight, Financial Control personnel, and the Recovery and Resolution team in ensuring a consistent view of balance sheet and liquidity across the firm. LM maintains an active and open dialogue on liquidity matters with regulators, rating agencies, investor relations and industry groups.

The LM Liquidity Forecasting team, which is part of Liquidity Position Management, is responsible for ensuring that Citi maintains adequate liquidity appropriately positioned to meet the company’s global needs both in normal market conditions as well as during periods of stress; establishing the framework for sizing liquidity positioning under Citi’s liquidity stress testing frameworks; developing contingency funding plans in conjunction with other stakeholders within and outside Citi’s Treasury function; and providing liquidity oversight to Citi’s global entities.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive the governance of funding, investing, and analytics of the balance sheet and interest rate risk management of consolidated Citigroup and Citibank, N.A. through various activities focused on forecasting
  • Develop and execute of short-term and long-term liquidity forecasting across legal entities and liquidity metrics, including analysis of balance sheet and liquidity drivers
  • Gain exposure to and learns about Citi’s balance sheet, liquidity management, interest rate risk and investment activities as well as business products.
  • Improve process efficiencies
  • Mentor and supervise junior employees
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Citi Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 10 plus years of experience working for a financial services organization
  • Advanced quantitative and presentation skills, with attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point, and ability to work with large volumes of data leveraging spreadsheets and models
  • Excellent project management, relationship building, and communication skills
  • Willingness to take initiative and offer creative solutions
  • Possess resiliency to work in an environment of change and competition
  • Ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
  • Take ownership and execute on deliverables
  • Team player with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high energy environment

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
