About the Role

Develop and establish new sales distribution channels as well as maintain good relationship with clients and business partners;

BlueCross seeks a highly motivated and ambitious Senior Manager, Business Development - AIA Agency to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role offers an outstanding chance to create a world-class impact by advancing our mission of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Assist the Head of Business Development in performing supervisory duties.
  • Mentor the sales team in order to meet individual sales goals, including training, motivating, and monitoring their progress.
  • Develop and establish new sales distribution channels, while maintaining a flawless relationship with clients and business partners.
  • Provide quotations and advice to clients/intermediaries, as well as handle service and product enquiries.
  • Manage projects, including marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and product development.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Proficiencies

  • Strong focus on sales, positive attitude, and ability to handle fast paced situations.
  • A standout colleague with great initiative, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education/Work Experience

  • University degree in Business Administration or related fields, or a Diploma in insurance. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Meet the Insurance Authority's fit and proper criteria for licensing as an individual insurance agent. Also, fulfill the minimum education and qualifications requirements, such as passing IIQE Paper 1 & 2.
  • Qualified IIQAS, LOMA, ANZIIF (Senior Associate), or other related professional insurance qualifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in the insurance industry. Candidates with less experience can be considered for the Manager position.
