About This Opportunity
As a Project Management Office (PMO) Intern and a valued member of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in PMO operations and play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of complex projects. This internship offers exposure to key project management processes, collaboration with project teams, and opportunities to enhance your analytical and communication skills. In PMO team your contribution will be to provide key performance indicators supporting Project Director to get informed decision on the execution of company critical projects.
Key Accountabilities
The incumbent will work alongside multiple teams in the collection, analysis, and reporting of complex data sets.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with different functional groups, including engineering, legal, planning, and finance.
Must demonstrate curiosity by proactively identifying gaps and proposing appropriate solutions.
Responsible for creating a set of valuable KPIs to Project Director after having understood company processes.
Responsible for benchmarking best practices both internally and externally.
Support the Associate Project Manager with documentation management.
Support PMO Manager in establishing proper governance and generating reports.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate should be working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Business Administration or a related field.
Completion of the second or third year of your undergraduate degree, or currently pursuing a master’s degree.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach towards dealing with multiple stakeholders with excellent problem-solving skills.
Exhibit interest in learning new project management methodologies, practices, and in planning and coordinating team events.
Strong command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to work a 40-hour work week throughout the internship, following a hybrid work model — with at least three days per week in the office during the initial months, transitioning to two days per week thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Co-op student available for an 8-month term, with at least one additional quarter or semester of coursework remaining after the completion of the internship.
Previous co-op/internship experience is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and data analysis knowledge or/and exposure is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Power BI.
A basic understanding of AI is plus.
