Position Summary

Functions as a Phlebotomist and Patient Service Representative in the Siteman Cancer Center Lab. Position provides basic blood drawing procedures or experienced skill in capillary and venipuncture blood collection on patients in a patient unit, outpatient area, or laboratory environment under direct or moderate supervision.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Draws blood on patients by venipuncture or capillary sticks.

  • Applies sweat tests at supervisor’s discretion.

  • Transports specimens.

  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or Phlebotomy coordinator.

Salary Range

$16.23 - $21.88 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
