Job Description Summary:

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and solutions. This role involves optimizing cloud resources, ensuring data security, and supporting applications that utilize cloud infrastructure. Need a strong background in cloud architecture, automation, and infrastructure management, specialize in designing and deploying scalable, resilient cloud solutions. Have experience in both public and private cloud environments optimizing system reliability,performance and promoting best practices.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Implement and manage cloud services, including storage, compute, and security services.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.

Key Skills 

  • Cloud Platforms: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including services like EC2, RDS, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS), Lambda, and Cloud Storage.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, and  manage complex, multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, ensuring high availability and efficient resource usage.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible for defining, provisioning, and managing infrastructure, promoting automation and consistency across environments.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Experienced with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and CloudWatch for monitoring, alerting, and log management to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
