Job Description:
A Medical assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. A Medical Assistant will be responsible for communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.Shift Details:40 hours/week, Full time. Clinic hours are Monday- Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. The candidate selected for this position will work Monday and Tuesdays as a float- covering our clinics at TOSH, Riverton and LDS Hospitals. The selected candidate will then work Wednesday- Friday will be 9:00am-5:00pm at the TOSH Clinic.
Unit/Location: TOSH (primary location), Riverton and LDS Hospital (2 days per week).

A strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, as this role partners closely with providers and supports multiple clinic teams
The importance of attendance, reliability, and follow-through, given the impact this role has on clinic flow and team success
The expectation of flexibility and adaptability, particularly during float days supporting different locations and teams
This role will be a full-time position (5 x 8-hour shifts) with the following breakdown:
3 assigned clinic days at TOSH Sleep Clinic working closely with a dedicated provider
2 days of float support across our locations, based on operational needs
