Purpose of Role:

Entry level role to support a team of client service managers servicing several of our Asset Manager and Asset Owner clients in the UK. The successful candidate will partner with both clients and colleagues to monitor that all service is delivered within the agreed deadlines and to the standards that both the client and State Street would expect.

Major Responsibilities:

Role specifics

  • Collate management information on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall service delivery for use in client meetings.

  • Support the client service managers in preparing for monthly service reviews and following up on agreed actions.

  • Support the client service change team in planning for and executing client driven change events.

Program dates: 22June 2026 – 21 June 2027

Individual Contributor

  • Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role

  • Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your behaviour

  • Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making

  • Support the ‘Risk Excellence’ culture within the business

  • Adhere to  limits of delegation and escalation procedures required by your manager so that you comply with internal policies and external regulations

                                          

Education and Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates should be:

  • A minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent (predicted)

  • Undergraduate students: degree in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics

  • Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment

  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement

  • Motivated by real-world problem solving and eager to contribute innovative ideas

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Good understanding of investment operations and cross functional relationships e.g. trading, custody, accounting, performance

  • Good knowledge of global custody and / or accounting principles

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently to meet client deliverables.
