About the Role:

Leading and developing the Search practice at a local level, driving a holistic Search approach across Paid Search, SEO, and agency search solutions. Responsible for the strategic growth of Search capabilities, service excellence, innovation, and the leadership of the Search activation team.

Success is measured by:

• Client satisfaction with Search strategy and campaign delivery. (as per client evaluation systems or solicited feedback)
• Achievement of clients' business objectives and Search KPIs through integrated Search solutions.
• Growth and development of the local Search practice, including adoption of SEO and agency search products.
• High-performing, engaged team with strong operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Building and Managing local Search & Performance Media services

• Driving the Search & Performance portfolio by leading client development, product innovation, and the evolution of holistic Search capabilities across Paid Search, SEO, and agency solutions
• Developing excellent knowledge of current product offerings
• Selection of buying strategies based on client KPIs and cost-effectiveness
• Overseeing campaigns execution and reporting on campaigns’ progress in accordance with established KPIs and implementation strategy
• Managing the process of Search campaigns’ optimization and recommending solutions to client teams

Team management and operational excellence

• Supervision of core Search team service delivery
• Monitoring campaign management and workflow processes, driving automation and activation efficiency
• Coordinating the work/tasks of other team members and providing ongoing and constructive feedback to colleagues
• Promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration across Paid Search, SEO, Analytics, and other specialist teams to deliver integrated Search solutions

Client relations

• Providing specialized expertise in contacts and meetings with clients
• Participation in Strategies preparation and presentation
• Participation in New Business projects, recommending solutions in line with WPP Media priorities and clients’ KPIs
• Acting as the agency's Search expert, advising clients on holistic Search strategies that combine Paid Search, SEO, and internal capabilities

Employee training and development

• Creation of talent plan
• Supporting individual goals setup
• Managing onboarding processes and trainings for agency staff
• Driving the development of Search capabilities across the agency, including Paid Search, SEO fundamentals, emerging search trends, and internal search products
