Department Overview

RDE (Resource Development Engineering) team is developing a highly specialized set of tools used for designing modern public safety communications systems - LTE, ASTRO (P25) and Dimetra (TETRA). The RDE tools are offered on cloud-based Stratus Platform which is developed with the use of micro services concept and are deployed into cloud environment (AWS) following Continuous Delivery principles. The tools are utilized by pre-sales and post-sales engineers within Motorola Solutions. We are Agile, we work Agile and are empowered to design our destiny and ways of working.

Job Description

The RDE tools are offered on cloud-based Stratus Platform which is developed with the use of micro services concept and are deployed into cloud environment (AWS) following Continuous Delivery principles. The tools are utilized by pre-sales and post-sales engineers within Motorola Solutions. We are Agile, we work Agile and are empowered to design our destiny and ways of working.

Basic Requirements

Must have:

• Practical knowledge (2+ years of professional experience) of web technologies: JavaScript, Vue 2, Vue Router, VueX 

• Ability and willingness to learn

• Passionate about software development, confident in own coding skills

• Understanding Agile and willing to work this way

• Self-motivated, with good communication skills

• English language skills at a level allowing efficient communication

These skills will be an asset:

• Practical knowledge of C#/.NET development ecosystem

• Experience in distributed, international teams

• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot)

• Experience with test automation frameworks (preferably Playwright)

• Familiarity with developing in cloud (e.g. AWS) using micro services concept

• Ability to work with version control system (GIT)

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks/components: Vuetify, AG-Grid
