The Awardco engineers are responsible for an array of duties, including managing the development of new features, changes to our existing code and improving overall product performance by optimizing existing workflows and code blocks. We expect our development team to be dynamic, display leadership qualities, bring fresh ideas to improve the product, and be enthusiastic to take on new problems as we continue to expand the recognition and incentive industry. 

As a Front End Developer here at Awardco, you will work closely with our Creative department and our other Developers to create captivating user interfaces. You will play an integral part in the development of our product. 

This internship has a target start date in May or June 2025 and will last through summer of 2025 with an August or September end date with the potential to extend.

What you will do:

  • Use Vuejs to create reusable components for easily scalable and modular code
  • Hand-code efficient, semantic, and standards-compliant JavaScript
  • Work effectively with other Front End Developers, Back End Developers, Product Managers, and Designers, as well as Awardco key stakeholders to build user interfaces 
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes

What you will bring:

  • Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Familiarity working with HTML/CSS/JS  
  • Individual Contributor having strong knowledge and hands-on Experience using a Javascript framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality interactive user interfaces
  • Ability to understand and implement documentation

Starting Pay

  • $25+/hr
