Cadence Design Systems Inc.  is looking for a motivated Software Engineer II: Web Internal Tools to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As a Software Engineer II: Web Internal Tools you will be part of DTM (Development Tools and Methodology) Team, that work with internal tools inside Cadence’s Verification Products.

Job Description:

• Help building Cadence’s internal software ecosystem, with a strong focus on improving developer productivity and product quality, using PHP, Python, MySQL
• Enable and empower engineering teams across Cadence by providing reliable tools, automation, and infrastructure that streamline their daily development workflows.
• Work with software programming and follow good coding practices,  good problem solving and debugging skills.
• Maintain infrastructure and environment: software and hardware architecture/interfaces.

Requirements:

• Complete bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/computer science or related field;
• Algorithms and data structures knowledge
• Proficiency in PHP, Python, MySQL knowledge
• Web Development Skills (HTML, React, JS, JQuery, CSS & related)
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English/Portuguese and a good team player.

Nice to have:

• IA Interest and contact (Agents/Skills)
• Good Version Control (Git, Mercurial or P4) knowledge
• Linux and Farm Usage (LSF, OpenLava) knowledge
• Containers Knowledge - (Docker & related)
• Testing and Quality Assurance tasks knowledge
