What you will do:
The Sales Leader will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals in the North America region. Under general direction, provides sales leadership to develop and support team as well as strategic account executive level business relationships to achieve profitable results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the North American Retail market.
How you will do it:
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for the North America region.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales operations, business development, marketing and solution development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Stay up to date on market and industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers to expand the company's presence in the market.
Achieve targeted sales growth at a rate and profit margin consistent with the strategic business plan.
Formulate a sound business plan to provide acceptable sales growth in accordance with established plan and market share targets.
Display solid working knowledge of U.S. Retail markets and Loss Prevention business and technologies.
Maintain and achieve sales goals and quotas for brand and region.
Represent the company at trade shows.
Contact existing and potential customers on a regular basis.
Establish and maintain a high-level of quality and timely service to customers for maximum retention.
What we look for:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 10 years' of sales experience and 5 years Retail Loss Prevention experience with a proven track record of success.
Minimum 3 years Leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of the North American market, including industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability and ability to be a team player at all levels with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Ability to travel up to 50% to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Ability to comprehend and make valid contributions to developing a business plan, including sales and marketing strategies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
NOTE: This is a virtual/remote position considering candidates who reside within the United States. Eastern or Central time zone strongly preferred.
