A unique and brand-new opportunity is now available to join a Global market leader in Veterinary Diagnostics as the Supply Chain Manager ANZ, committed to helping pets lead fuller lives by giving veterinarians the tools, technology, and insights to see clearly and get the answers they need. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will establish and oversee the complete supply chain strategic direction, process and systems across the Australia and New Zealand business and lead a team by fostering an environment of growth and development.

What you can expect

  • You will provide strong leadership, coaching and development for the reporting teams across ANZ

  • You will review and maintain SOP’s and documentation to optimise work practices and quality standards across the region.

  • You will have oversight of the national freight contracts, transport hubs, 3PL’s and freight forwarders.

  • You will ensure that the supply chain activities fully comply with all applicable regulatory, statutory, quality and safety standards.

  • You will lead effective management to be able to provide our customers with their products on time and within quality specifications.

  • You will manage and monitor the annual budgets and forecasting process.

  • You will drive operational excellence that aligns with the business objectives and goals.

  • You will network and build relationships with the local and global supply chain team, and also cross-functionally.

  • You will ensure compliance with health and safety, as well as environmental standards, by processing audits and implementing systems.

  • You will lead and take part in local or global projects relating to the supply chain business.

You will have

  • Qualifications in supply chain management, distribution or similar.

  • 8+ years of experience with managing a supply chain function within a global matrix organisation

  • APAC Certification (highly regarded).

  • Training or experience in Lean Methodology

  • Experience working within the veterinary, diagnostic or medical industries.

  • Experience working with national freight contracts.

  • Domestic and international supply chain experience

  • Quality and regulation management experience

  • Experience with networking with a global supply chain team.

  • A strong passion for the professional development and growth of your team

  • Exposure with managing a team both locally and remotely
