The opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR services and driving process improvements? Join our dynamic HR Operations team as an HR Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting internal customers and ensuring accurate, timely HR service delivery. This is your chance to be part of a collaborative environment that values initiative, quality, and continuous improvement.

As part of this role, you will preferably also bring valuable expertise in Finnish legislation as well as payroll and time processes, helping us ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months and the location for the role is Vaasa. 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, Compensation & Benefits and payroll-related processes.
  • Supporting HR time management processes, ideally with an understanding of time management practices and local labor regulations.
  • Handling employee queries and transactional requests via our HR ticketing system in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, managers and employees keeping them informed about process progress and outcomes.
  • Ensuring HR data accuracy and process compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Supporting audits, HR projects and process improvements.

Your background

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in an HR Operations and/or Payroll environment.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and payroll processes.
  • Experience in working with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas etc. are a plus).
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and vendors across borders.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English.
