Your role

We are looking for a Finops Lead in the Global CCoE Organization based in our (Boadilla) office, a key team in our technology ecosystem.

This area (Global CCoE) is responsible for:

  • Facilitators for the acceleration of the adoption of Public Cloud by the different entities (+20) of the Bank following the standards of Governance, Architecture and Security. 

  • Relationship with the entities for the management of Cloud projects and single point of contact in everything related to Public Cloud needs/projects. 

  • Relationship with Cloud Service Providers 

  • Relationship with the Local CCoE in the different entities.

  • Management of strategic IT projects of the Group in everything related to Public Cloud.

  • Global Finops Service and Governance. 

‍Your main tasks will be:

  • Lead FinOps team to achieve Public Cloud-related spending efficiency goals.

  • Definition of tools and associated methodology.

  • Governance and definition of action plans with the different entities

  • Report/oversight generation for the management of Public Cloud consumption and actions to be carried out for its efficient use.

  • Creation of the FinOps framework/policy: Guidelines, Best Practices, standards.

  • Monitoring efficiency actions with entities.

  • Relationship with CSP in all matters related to cost efficiency/Finops.

  • Forecast and distribution of consumption among the different entities of the group.

  • Coordination with Global CCoE  Business Office to align message and finops actions with entities.

What you’ll bring

If you think you’ve got what it takes, these are the key skills we’ll be looking for in your CV:

  • High level of English (C1)

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Information Technology

  • Organized person with high quality standards.

  • High analytical capacity.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Steering Relationship Capability (C-Level)

  • High analytical and continuous improvement capacity.

  • Demonstrable experience of more than 4 years leading Finops teams and discipline in large multinational organizations.

  • Deep knowledge of Finops management, services and architectures in the main CSPs of the market (mainly Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services).
