Job Description Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Sr Staff Analyst to be part of our IT organization who has a passion in developing modern applications supporting suite of enterprise application. The individual will be working closely with Business and technical teams for highly visible key initiative which involves internal as well as customer facing applications. The individual will be responsible for being an advocate of agile practices & principles and will guide the implementation teams in becoming a more dynamic & highly efficient agile team.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with Global customer office team to translate Sales and marketing roadmap to a well-defined and organized product backlog and ensure transparency and alignment with our agile development teams.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, solutions architects, QA teams, contract development partners to build design, facilitate business decision making, escalate issues impeding the progress and timely completion of the project.
- Be a trusted technology advisor to business to select and deploy solutions to meet business needs.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements and solutions based on existing operating procedures.
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
- Manage releases and facilitate internal communication with effective collaboration.
- Independently and effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines.
- Demonstrable ability to make decisions and collaborate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Take ownership and close assigned production issues in a timely manner following the change management process.
- Review the assigned production issues, identify the root cause of the issue, and provide solution to the development team for fixing the issue.
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code.
- Lead the development team by fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, promoting open communication, setting clear goals, and empowering team members to take ownership of tasks while driving performance, growth, and technical excellence through regular feedback, recognition, and continuous coaching.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics, Computer Engineering, information technology or closely relevant field
- 7+ years of engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Python)
- Familiarity in .Net Technologies like ASP.Net, C#, Win Forms, MVC, Web Services & Test-Driven Development
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), AWS and Azure is desirable.
- Experience with SOA and Web APIs (Rest, Soap)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL database is a must, Redshift and BigData is a plus.
- Familiarity with data engineering, including experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with large datasets across various data platforms (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, cloud-based data warehouses like Amazon Redshift, and Big Data technologies).
- Understanding of SOLID and OWASP security principles.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or other agile management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and skilled at troubleshooting issues over multiple technical environments
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with various levels in the organization and has the influence to drive team players to action and commitment.
