The Solutions Specialist role is a unique personal and professional growth opportunity. Your primary responsibility will be understanding customer needs and building, proposing, and demonstrating solutions from the Elekta product and service portfolio to customers. With an understanding of the customer needs, this role creates customer-specific proposals from the portfolio which deliver customer success and drive sales orders. The Solutions Specialist plays a key customer-facing role in pre-and post-sales activities. You should be able to use clinical, operational, financial, and technical knowledge to create, explain, promote, and demonstrate the clinical-added value of Elekta’s portfolio.
As an integral part of the team, you will work closely with the Sales Director & Account Managers, to promote Elekta Solutions. Your efforts will be crucial in building a sales pipeline and supporting these leads to closure. You share responsibilities with the Cluster Leader, Sales Directors, and Account Managers for developing the market and meeting the order target, revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
At Elekta, our Solutions Specialist’s work collaboratively within the Cluster to maintain and enhance their shared knowledge of Elekta's portfolio's benefits. This collaborative approach ensures that support is readily available across the Cluster:
Ensure they maintain their shared clinical, operational, financial, and technical knowledge of the clinical added value of Elekta’s portfolio's benefits to the highest level.
Support the Cluster Leader and Sales Directors in developing strategic plans per country and successfully implementing short—and long-term plans (including support for country-specific sales activities, programs, and marketing activities).
· Support the development of sales opportunities in the installed base of existing and new customers through direct sales activities in close collaboration with the cluster sales teams.
· Initial product knowledge reference for the Cluster Sales teams.
· Provide regular updates on ongoing prospects at Sales and Business Line meetings.
· Tender support: As the product portfolio expert, you answer tender questions and provide expertise to submit a successful bid.
· Customer satisfaction is at the core of our operations. You will provide internal support to the local sales teams to resolve product portfolio-related issues, manage challenges, and ensure customers are satisfied with the services and support Elekta delivers.
· Visit customers regularly, evaluate workflow and product use, consult on best practices, and assist in workflow improvements and optimization.
· Adopt and support CLM's full use and adoption in the Cluster, including Salesforce and commercial quotes within Oracle.
· Support product launches in the Cluster, focusing on planning and implementing a sales strategy with the local sales team.
· Work alongside the local sales teams and marketing to develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers, including developing customers as valuable reference sites and key opinion leaders.
· Provide consistent competitor customer analysis to Sales, Business Lines and global competitive intelligence team.
· Understand and prioritise customer requirements for products and services and report this to product marketing, ensuring the customer's and market's voices are heard.
· Work with marketing to identify where adaptation of international sales material for the Cluster is required.
· Represent Elekta at conferences, symposiums, shows and other events as needed.
· Follow quality and safety procedures per company policy and industry regulations.
· Incorporate and display Elekta values in all departmental functions and responsibilities.
· Work with the Sales and Order Fulfilment teams and the customer after contract signature to enable seamless project implementation and clinical go-live.
• To propose and demonstrate configurations and solutions for the Elekta product and services portfolio to the customers.
• To make decisions to secure sales within the company guidelines.
• At least a Bachelor's Degree (clinical or business-oriented)
• Qualification or demonstrated skills in Medical Physics (diploma physicist or dosimetry, or knowledge of medical physics) preferred
• Clinical experience working with radiotherapy treatment planning systems would be a major advantage.
• Competences in information systems in the hospital world helpful
· A driven sales attitude with a desire to win a complex sale, often requiring unique approaches and persistence.
• Ability to work strategically and operationally, including interacting directly with customers across all disciplines (technologist, medical physicist, radiation oncologist, administrator, C-level) and building and keeping strong customer relationships.
• Solid knowledge and experience in radiation oncology, physics, and clinical workflows, as well as expertise in CT and MR imaging, are preferred.
• Ideally, knowledge and understanding of radiosurgery.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts and ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary professionals at all levels of authority.
• Familiarity with IT, including the following software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM (Salesforce), Qlik Sense, Seismic and other tools.
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Elekta's product portfolio.
• Fluency in English is essential, while another language relevant to the Cluster is preferable.
• Ability to work autonomously, results-oriented, analytical, with solid project management skills, and a collaborator.
• Strong people skills to develop and leverage internal and external relationships.

• Strong ethical standards, values, and good judgment.
