JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director of the Center for the Innovative Workforce provide designated training, online and face-to-face, for a group of individuals, taking the training to improve their economic mobility by entering the technology workforce, as technical support technicians

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide quality and empathetic training to the participants in the training program covering topics such as troubleshooting, hardware basics, office technology, and cybersecurity
• Assist participants in the completion of assigned hands-on assignments and in preparation for the certification exam
• Help participants who may need some supplemental support
• Provide feedback on changes that may be needed to ensure the effectiveness of the training
• Support the participants in their transition to the technology industry.

OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

• Perform administrative tasks as necessary to support the participants.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education                                        

• To perform this job successfully, and the individual must possess at least a associate's degree in a technology-related subject

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the technology industry preferably in technical support

Licenses or Certifications            

• At least one related certification         

Supervision                                      

• Basic supervision.
