Summary: The Onbe Program Management Office (PMO) is seeking a qualified candidate to join as Manager, Program Management. This position involves coordinating and driving the successful delivery of complex projects and strategic initiatives. You will manage a team of project managers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects deliver the intended value, on time, and within budget. Your role will involve defining project objectives, setting priorities, and aligning efforts to achieve Onbe’s strategic goals. Your leadership, organizational, and communication skills will be important in leading multiple projects and encouraging collaboration across the organization.

This position is remote, but it's essential that candidates reside within 30 miles of the Metro Boston area. The role may occasionally require in-person meetups and travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management support to a team of project managers
  • Establish and maintain project management standards and best practices.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and strategic objectives
  • Manage and resolve project and program issues
  • Ensure project teams are following Agile methodology and project management best practices
  • Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with program execution.
  • Program management of strategic projects, as needed.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and contract processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and project teams.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence in project management.
  • Supervise and report progress updates, progress-to-plan, and milestone achievements consistently to all levels of the organization.
  • Identify areas for improvement in project management processes to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Lead development of new project proposals.
  • Assist in interviewing, recruitment, and orientation of new hires
  • Project management tool administration
  • Prepare and present project reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and develop project management talent within the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and Agile certification (e.g., CSM) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $118,440 to $152,250 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of proven experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
