ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional to join our Industrial Systems & Services Group. The Software Verification Engineer will design test cases and test station, will verify software developed for modern industrial electronics hardware that is used to monitor and control the power generation applications as well as applications used in the marine business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Requirements analysis, test plan and test cases creation

• Automate testing using various tools and approaches

• Execute automated and manual testing per predefined test plans

• Working with Embedded/OS software developers to assure software quality  

• Expand existing automated test frameworks in Python (PyTest) and NI LabView/TestStand to implement verification strategy

• Testing on real targets and instrumentation with “Hardware in the Loop” concept

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Good communication skills both in Polish and English

• Between 4-6 years of experience in software testing

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Required good or very good knowledge/experience in:
   NI LabVIEW programming and/or Python scripting
  Test automation
  Requirement-based test case development
  Requirements management tools and version control systems
  Using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ, logic analyzers, etc.
  Problem solving

• Advantage would be:
  Knowledge of NI TestStand, LabVIEW FPGA
  Python with PyTest framework experience
  ISTQB Foundation Level certificate
  3-phase AC power distribution and synchronization basic knowledge
  CI systems (Jenkins or Bamboo)

• Working on assigned tasks independently to meet schedule
