Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth progress of application development and addressing challenges that arise during the lifecycle of the project. The role is dynamic and involves continuous engagement with the evolving needs of the project to deliver tailored software solutions effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals and deliverables.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and assisting in their professional development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing custom applications within the SAP HANA environment.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and performance tuning specific to SAP HANA.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools used in SAP landscapes.
- Competence in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
