Perform all the duties of a Diagnostic Technologist II.

Advanced Competencies
Expected to perform complex procedures as applicable to your primary area. This includes but is not limited to Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, advanced MSK procedures, procedures involving a sterile technique, and complex imaging that requires extensive critical thinking.
Capable of inventorying, ordering, and tracking unit supplies. This includes utilizing any 3rd inventory management tools designed for your area.
Knowledge and Competency
Highly experienced. Proficient in advanced modality competencies.
Thorough knowledge of technical standards, the scope of practice, department and health system policies, safety and service standards.
Participates in the development of modality policy, procedures, and workflows.
Thorough understanding of imaging equipment, image processing software, instrumentation, and ancillary patient care equipment.
Education, Certification & Experience
The position requires certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT), BLS, and a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Individuals with at least 6 years of experience can use this in lieu of the education requirement.
Team members who reached Clin III status prior to 7.1.2023 are exempt from this educational requirement.
