Job Description:

The Role: 

  • As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for sustaining and improving manufacturing processes for CMP Pad production, ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality output to meet overall production targets. This role spans process control, equipment performance, yield improvement, and issue resolution in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional and global teams, and support new product introductions to ensure smooth transition into manufacturing. 

In this role you will: 

  • Monitor and maintain process stability using SPC and data analysis tools 

  • Ensure smooth production flow and resolve issues to meet output and production targets 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, and productivity 

  • Perform equipment troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and process tuning 

  • Lead safety-related actions and execute OCAP for abnormal conditions 

  • Investigate customer complaints and manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions 

  • Maintain and update Work Instructions (WI) and process documentation 

  • Resolve production line bottlenecks and optimize overall manufacturing performance 

  • Collaborate with NPI teams to support new product introduction and ramp-up 

  • Manage engineering projects and qualification activities 

  • Ensure product quality compliance and manage BOM-related changes 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and global sites
