Summary:

We are hiring a Stormwater Project Manager in our Minneapolis or St. Paul, MN locations, to lead Braun Intertec’s stormwater program.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead stormwater services as the subject matter expert for Braun Intertec office leads, business unit leaders, and account leaders
  • Provide stormwater support services to other Braun Intertec offices, including project scoping and proposal development, drafting of stormwater pollution prevention plans, quality reviews of inspection reports and audits results, stormwater permitting, and client representation during enforcement proceedings.
  • Coordinate and provide internal training and mentorship of inspection staff
  • Support stormwater business development efforts with leadership and business development staff, including marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and new clients
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and other offices within Braun Intertec
  • Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget, while balancing project team tasks
  • Develop and review stormwater project proposals and ensure that scope, schedule and cost expectations are met
  • Collaborate and execute stormwater business development initiatives and planning with leadership
  • Flexibility and willingness to conduct occasional field work, including SWPPP inspections and audits

Experience & Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of direct stormwater related experience with NPDES programs in multiple states is desired
  • Strong desire to build and grow a stormwater focused client base through diverse business development initiatives on a regional and national scale working with several market and regional leaders
  • Excellent project management and communication, team collaboration with internal and external clients, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills
    • Stormwater certifications (CPESC, CESSWI, University of Minnesota Design of SWPPP or Construction Site Manager) is highly preferred
    • General understanding of other related environmental regulations (NEPA/MEPA, SPCC, Phase I/II ESA, Wetlands, etc.) is desired.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving history and be willing to use personal vehicle on company projects (occasionally, as needed)
    • Willingness to assist other markets and services (Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, SPCC, Tier II reporting, etc.) as needed
    • Availability to travel regionally and nationally up to 10% of the time
