  • Responsible for manpower planning, control & effective utilization to get better productivity.
  • Responsible for OEE monitoring of all CNC machines.
  • Responsible for new Product development on machine - Process, Tool, cutting parameters & Program
  • Responsible for new tool innovation for productivity improvement.
  • Responsible for routing of components & ensuring BOM availability in the E1 system.
  • Responsible for close observation of actual time with standard time.
  • Responsible for implementing Innovative manufacturing processes/practices for machine shop parts.
  • Responsible for making sure all tools/fixtures are available before operation.
  • Responsible for reviewing inspection reports of parts.
  • Responsible for identifying the training needs of operators and Apprentice trainees for current & future requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality machining/work of required standard
  • Responsible for supporting developmental projects like, layout preparation (for new unit / other), machine selection, work on cost reduction initiatives, etc.
  • Responsible for adhering to the Part deviation procedure.
  • Responsible for ensuring parameters (Speed, feed & doc) in the program as per manufacturer recommendation & as per proven job
  • Responsible for ensuring material waiting time zero for all parts for each work center.
  • Responsible for ensuring parts feed to assembly as per the committed date.
  • Responsible for ensuring & maintaining the quality of components.
  • Responsible for coordination of inspection activity with Quality Control.
  • Responsible for corrective & preventive maintenance of quality issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring preventive maintenance activity for machine tools & equipment as per plan.
  • Responsible for ensuring the use of tooling optimization & maintaining scrap procedure.
  • Responsible for ensuring 5-S & Housekeeping on shop floor.
  • Responsible for ensuring safety at workplace to achieve the target of Zero Accident.
  • Responsible for ensuring system Audits & inventory are done as & when required.
  • Responsible for effective utilization of team, machine tools and contribution in cost reductions.
