ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for implementation and administration of the disability plans and leave of absence policies.
Responsible for ensuring proper management of all administrative aspects of leave claims to include tracking hours used/taken; return to work data; case reviews and working closely with the Managers, HR, Benefits, and Payroll to ensure kay dates, details, and status for employees is accurate and correct.
Responsible for keeping up to date ensuring company is compliant with federal, state and local laws and regulations related to leave of absence. Partnering with legal when appropriate.
Partners with team to identify areas of opportunity as it relates to benefit and well-being programs and offerings to enhance employee experience.
Partners with Benefits Manager, Talent Management, and Legal team to develop and deliver appropriate Manager and/or HR training for all Leave related laws and regulations. Ensures training stays up to date and provides upon request.
Provides support to employees, managers and HRBP on Leave related actions in Workday.
Responsible for system functionality for Leave Module in Workday and partners with HRIS to ensure accurate configuration as well as Absence Tracking Software. Ensure proper process documentation and workflows. Identify areas to process improve and streamline.
Conducts regular audits to maintain data integrity and accurate system functionality.
Generates reports and analyzes leave data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Provides regular updates to HR leadership on leave metrics and trends.
Provide input to Benefits Manager regarding opportunities for improvement whether process related or related to leave offerings.
Serves as a back-up to other Benefit team members on an as needed basis for daily inquiries and tasks.
Complete special projects as assigned.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Promote positive employee relations as well as understanding of leave programs through timely, accurate and thorough response to employee leave inquiries.
Must stay apprised of leave changes / offerings and look for ways to continuously improve the company’s benefits package as it relates to leave of absence.
