Return to Office: As of October 15, 2024 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office.

The Market Analytics and Loyalty team supports the Loblaw retail banners in planning and administering PC Optimum loyalty promotions and providing internal stakeholders with customer insights to help them make better, more data-driven business decisions.

We are hiring a Co-op, Loyalty Insights & Analytics to support the Market Division, across our array of banners and formats.

      

Reporting to the Business & Consumer Insights Manager, the Co-op will be responsible for supporting the building and maintenance of our PC Optimum loyalty promotions working closely with a cross-functional team in marketing, promotions, and merchandising.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the execution and recommendations of loyalty campaigns at the Market Division
  • Maintaining and communicating calendar of events to your stakeholder group
  • Deliver weekly reporting on loyalty campaign performance, and operational KPIs
  • Support marketing and digital teams on ad-hoc analysis and leverage customer data to deliver meaningful insights to drive business strategy
  • Analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and interpret appropriate information to deliver value add recommendations

What You'll Need:

  • Be enrolled in university, working towards a degree similar to Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Ability to convert data to insight, insight to recommendations and recommendations into an action plan
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable collaborating within a cross-functional team
  • Excellent organization and ability to stay on top of a dynamic and fast-moving business
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, R is an asset
