Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Premium Crew. Under general supervision, performs work as needed to clean, maintain and prepare for events at the facilityDuties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Greet guests at the VIP entrance, efficiently scanning/checking tickets and assisting guests by directing them to their seat/suites 

  • Provide attentive assistance throughout the event, promptly addressing inquiries or concerns. 

  • Maintain exclusivity in premium areas by monitoring and enforcing entry for authorized guests. 

  • Promptly assist guests with ordering point of sale. 

  • Anticipate guest needs and attend to guests appropriately. 

  • Inventories on a predetermined basis. 

  • Support the Premium Seat Services team in maintaining organization and cleanliness. 

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests regarding venue policies and event details. 

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and security of all work areas and rooms. 

  • Interact with guests and team members in a pleasant and professional manner. 

  • Regular attendance is an essential job function. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager. 

 

Education and/or Experience           

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. and one (1) to three (3) months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Knowledge of food and beverage service 

  • Six to twelve months prior server and/or bartending experience. 

 

Skills and Abilities   

  • Reports to Guest Services & Security Manager in appropriate uniform, for assigned location. 

  • Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times 

  • Knowledge of sanitary practices. 

  • Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards. 

  • Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment. 

  • Ability to work with other staff members in the facility. 

  • Follow all rules and regulations which apply to ASM 

  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks. 

  • Attention to detail.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events. 

This position requires bending, stooping and lifting up to 40 lbs.  Substantial standing and walking. 

 

Pay Rate $18 - $20/hr
