Reporting to the Manager of Procurement you will manage the purchasing of vegetables with consideration to price, quality, logistics, reliability, and urgency of need. You'll be accountable for research, high-level problem resolution, negotiations, master data analysis, transaction processing and report running. You will collaborate with other departments to identify process improvement opportunities.

You'll work on:

  • Develop an understanding of market dynamics, cost drivers and logistics.
  • Develop an understanding of company facilities and requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraints.
  • Build relationships with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Support business process improvements and documentation
  • Develop an understanding of SAP MRP processes and data
  • Run multiple reports on a scheduled basis and provide supporting analytics
  • Manage procurement master data in SAP and right angle to help guide process efficiencies.
  • Enter contracts and orders into SAP based on category strategy
  • Provide research and analytical support for different issues and ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Procurement or a related field
  • Excel – Intermediate level
  • Continuous improvement mindset and methodology
  • In the Omaha office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
