The Business Support Coordinator 2 follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization group. The Business Support Coordinator 2 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

Where you Come In 

The Business Support Coordinator 2 is responsible for collecting, compiling, and verifying information, ensuring accurate entry into various documents such as reports, correspondence, and office databases. This role codes and organizes documents, including incoming and outgoing mail, to facilitate precise processing and filing. The coordinator addresses or redirects routine inquiries from internal and external sources regarding the organization's activities or processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Additional duties include performing routine administrative tasks in accordance with established organizational procedures, which may involve making phone calls, distributing and preparing mail, photocopying, filing, operating office equipment, and maintaining office supplies or inventory. Decisions typically involve interpreting department policies and determining methods for completing assignments.

Required Qualifications – What it takes to Succeed 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality

  • Strong organizational skills

  • This is a 100% in office position working at the Waterside Building in Louisville

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Previous administrative or related experiences

  • Experience with Internet research and proof-reading and editing

  • Ability to type 50-55 words per minute

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
