Job Summary :

Assist with retail activities on the floor in a team effort with volunteers.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Accurately handles sales transactions in timely manner.

2. Responsible for filling back stock to the floor.

3. Responsible for straightening and/or folding stock and dusting shelves for pleasant presentation of merchandise.

4. Maintains welcoming atmosphere for customers coming into the gift shop, greeting people as they come in the door.

5. Responsible for insuring adequate cash/change on hand.

6. Attends to individual customer needs by presenting and selling merchandise. Shows new store items as they arrive.

7. Maintains an awareness of shoplifting potential at all times.

8. Trains and supervises volunteers in order to continually improve services provided.

9. Provides for personal professional growth and development.
