Job Description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Medical Dosimetrist
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Hours: Ful time
  • Shifts: Day 7:30-4
  • Required Travel: local

Responsibilities:

  • Implement department policies and procedures to uphold top-tier patient care
  • Create high quality computerized radiation treatment plans, prioritizing patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Actively engage in initiatives for improved patient outcomes
  • Contribute to clinical projects to implement innovative techniques
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 2+ years' on-the-job training and work experience in medical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist.
  • Proficiency in understanding the technical aspects of radiation oncology as necessary to provide safe and effective treatment
  • Familiarity with relevant state and national radiation safety requirements
