The Opportunity

This position works out of our Greece , Alimos location  in the Finance Organization.

Finance and Reporting Supervisor will report to the Country Finance Director who will handle accounting operations and financial activities of the Abbott companies in Greece. The position should also provide assistance to the Accounting Manager with external and internal audit examinations  collaborate with the accounting department to create financial reports and analyze forecasts.

What will you do:

  • Prepare accurate financial information with the help of inputs from the finance team on time.
  • Prepare error-free accounting reports and their results.
  • Conduct account reconciliation regularly on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Analyze the financial statements for any discrepancies and issues.
  • Provide support in the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Provide support in tax returns and tax audit.
  • Provide assistance to the Accounting Manager with external and internal audit examinations.

Required Qualifications :

  • Deep understanding of Accounting monthly activities and reporting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration studies
  • More than 5 years of successful accounting experience preferably in Multinational Companies
  • Master of Science Education - preferred
  • Well organized and well time management skills
  • Analytical & Numerical skills
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
  • Native in local language and fluent English
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Understanding of accounting software like eg SoftOne , SAP , etc.
