JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES MANAGER (SM)
Project: Manulife - Vietinbank Bancassurance Partnership
Location: Hue / Da Nang
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
1. Job Objective
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing, operating, and promoting life insurance business activities through the assigned Vietinbank branch network. The primary goal is to ensure the achievement of First Year Premium (FYP) targets, maintain high persistence rates, and build sustainable strategic relationships with bank leadership.
2. Key Responsibilities
* Sales Performance Management: Take full ownership of the FYP (First Year Premium) targets for the assigned region/branch cluster.
* Relationship Management: Establish and maintain close cooperation with Branch Directors, Heads of Transaction Offices, and bank staff (RMs/SRMs) to optimize the flow of potential leads.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and inspire a team of Financial Service Consultants (IOIS/PAM) to achieve high-performance results.
* Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Bank to organize sales events, customer workshops (Tea-breaks/Seminars), and internal incentive programs.
* Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all consulting processes and customer applications strictly comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Finance, Manulife, and Vietinbank.
* Reporting & Analysis: Monitor daily business progress and analyze data to provide timely solutions for bottlenecks at points of sale.
3. Professional Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Life Insurance or Banking. At least 1–2 years in a management role (Bancassurance experience is highly preferred).
* Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Preferred majors: Economics, Finance, Banking, or Business Administration).
* Skills: * Strong negotiation and persuasion skills (especially when working with high-level partners).
* Professional presentation and event organization skills.
* Effective problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
* Attitude: Result-oriented, customer-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive under high pressure.
