Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team in implementing effective solutions. You will also engage in strategic planning sessions to align project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved in the decision-making process. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of application development initiatives while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Roles & Responsibilities: MM Configuration: Strong expertise in configuring the core MM processes such as Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification. Ability to adapt to any changes introduced in the new service pack and modify configurations accordingly. Cross-Module Integration: Understanding of the integration between MM and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, WM, PP, and FICO). Knowledge of how the upgraded service pack upgrade might affect these integrations, ensuring smooth functionality post-upgrade. Customization & Enhancements: Ability to review and modify custom developments (user exits, BADI implementations, etc.) in the MM area to ensure compatibility with the new service packversion. 3. Testing & Validation Test Management: Strong experience in creating test plans for the MM module. Proficient in testing end-to-end MM processes post-upgrade, including testing in the Development and Quality environments. Regression Testing: Ability to conduct regression testing to ensure that the new service pack does not negatively impact any existing functionality, especially MM transactions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management. - Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management. - Experience with SAP integration and configuration. - Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management. - A 15 years full time education is required.
