What You Will Do:

Both Senior Consultant/Consultant

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant you will leverage your technical and strategic skills in many areas of health care, focusing on a specific area of specialization within the integrated healthcare system (service lines, facility strategy, enterprise strategy, financial strategy, M&A strategy, digital strategy, growth strategy). Specific responsibilities could include the following:

  • Lead/participate in transformation project workstreams focused on the modernization of public sector and/or commercial/private healthcare operations by facilitating multiple process improvement strategies to increase revenue, develop standard practices for care delivery, improve the patient experience and the efficiency of healthcare systems

  • Work in a fast-paced high performing environment while creating an outstanding culture that is accepting and leverages individual strengths

  • Develop strong client relationships and advise executive leaders


What You Will Need:

Senior Consultant level

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, informatics, or a related field is required; Master's degree in business, management, health economics, policy and administration or other quantitative degree is a plus

  • 5+ years of previous work experience in a healthcare consulting firm or a combination of healthcare industry and consulting experience as well as experience with corporate or public sector strategy development and implementation or operational transformations

  • Project and/or program management experience 3+ yrs

  • 2+ years of experience with supporting large client organizations in either the federal or private sector

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access as well as the ability to conduct research

  • The ability to travel as necessary: up to 50%

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. must be a US citizen)

Consultant level

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience

  • 2+ years of experience with corporate/public sector strategy development or implementation  or operational transformations

  • 1+ years of experience with supporting client organizations in either the federal or private sector

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access as well as the ability to conduct research

  • The ability to travel as necessary: up to 50% in rare cases

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (i.e. must be a US citizen)


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Senior Consultant level

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills\

  • PMP Certification

  • Masters Degree (MBA, MPH, MPP, MHA, MPA, MSOD)

  • Experience in healthcare and/or public health

  • Experience with claims payment processes, systems, and analytics

  • 2+ years of experience with conducting organizational assessments, developing strategic outlooks/visions/plans, developing business cases, and making recommendations for improvement

  • Experience with delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment

  • Ability to use data to inform strategy, problem-solve and make decisions

  • Innovative mindset and intellectual curiosity regarding industry and academic trends

  • Demonstrates proven success in a management consulting role supporting strategy and operations projects
    Demonstrates creative thinking skills and individual initiative

Consultant level
