Agropur is looking for a logistics technician who will be responsible for liaising between customer service, internal and external distribution centers, and carriers to ensure optimal execution of distribution and transportation operations. This logistics technician position is a one-year contract, and the work schedule is from 6 PM to 2 AM, Monday to Friday.

• Salary range 002: $53,000 to $66,200 (The base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position).

What’s involved in this role:

• Prepare pick-up slips and provide technical support to warehouses;

• Print labels for orders;

• Fill in backordered products;

• Prioritize orders;

• Validate the accuracy of orders and anomalies;

• Ensure communication between forklift operators, team leaders, and the management team;

• Ensure the service level of our suppliers while optimizing our costs;

• Confirm orders and prepare necessary documents;

• Welcome and respond to carriers and visitors.

What you need to join our team:

• College diploma in a relevant field;

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in the distribution or transportation field;

• Good knowledge of computerized systems (SAP, Excel);

• Proficiency in spoken and written French and English to communicate with our North American partners.
