Join our Asia Pacific Operations – Transported by Maersk team for real-world shipping experience with a global market leader. You will gain exposure across our regional Hub Operations Center, working with diverse stakeholders, vendors and regulatory bodies.

This role offers a dynamic environment with strong opportunities for growth. You will develop practical shipping operations knowledge and build skills in execution, process improvement, stakeholder management, multicultural communication and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate vessel formalities before/during/after port stay and ensure smooth service delivery with vendors, authorities and government agencies.

  • Submit accurate and timely vessel documents via the Malaysia Maritime Single Window (MMSW) for port clearance and compliance.

  • Manage all documentation related to the vessel’s port stay.

  • Act as liaison with local authorities (Harbour Master, Port Health, Immigration, Customs, Terminal, Port Authority, Coast Guard, etc.).

  • Handle crew changes, medical/dental needs and shore leave arrangements.

  • Arrange bunker, sludge, garbage disposal, fresh water, supplies and provisions with approved vendors.

  • Optimize completion of all vessel services within port stay.

  • Report irregularities or incidents to relevant stakeholders.

  • Identify process improvements and eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Log non‑performing vendors and drive continuous performance improvement.

We are looking for

  • Fresh graduates from any discipline are encouraged to apply

  • Good command (written and verbal) of Malay & English

  • Willing to work in a 24/7 shift (on-call / shifting), with up to 70% field work (Gov't offices, ports, etc)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Must possess a valid Malaysia Driving License

  • Team player, able to work independently and uphold company values

  • Pleasant, assertive, results‑oriented personality with strong sense of urgency

  • Physically and Medically Fit to work
