Pediatric  Sleep Medicine at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, a state-of-the-art, globally integrated, 234-bed free standing children’s hospital is an incredible place to work. You will enjoy taking care of children with all types of sleep concerns including some of the top few conditions as sleep apnea, insomnia and excessive daytime sleepiness. Our new partner will join the innovative and creative minds in the practice generating ideas to improve the care of kids in West Michigan. The group seeks a board certified or board eligible Pediatric Sleep Physician. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills to provide high quality patient care, academic and research interest to fully participate in the education of our medical students and residents and will collaborate with the multidisciplinary staff. This position will provide outpatient clinical pulmonary services and assist with inpatient pulmonary consultative services and shared call with other members of the division.

• Sleep Disorders Center - AASM accredited, 14 pediatric sleep beds

• Multidisciplinary approach with patient centered care

• Ongoing assessment, treatment and monitoring across multiple sleep disorders

• Pulmonary Function lab

• Basic science research program in collaboration with Michigan State University

• Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship Program

Qualifications:

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Pulmonology

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Sleep Medicine

Michigan License

Expertise and commitment to provide high quality clinical care

Skills and commitment to provide a quality educational experience for residents and medical students

Track record of success or prepared to engage in scholarly activities that include residents and medical students
