THIS IS NISSAN

We are currently looking for a Buyer 2 to join our team in Toluca. This role is responsible for sourcing, price negotiations, and cost reduction activities for complex commodities, ensuring successful execution of contracts and supporting buyers in major negotiations.

A Day in the Life:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned commodities.
• Negotiate and establish commodity prices to achieve cost reduction goals.
• Coordinate with departments and suppliers to ensure contract compliance and resolve issues related to quality, cost, delivery, and design.
• Provide guidance and coaching to buyers, supporting onboarding and knowledge transfer.
• Prepare formal presentations and lead meetings as required.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• More than 3 years of professional experience in sourcing, cost reduction, and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/legal regulations and the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Occasional day and overnight travel with advance notice.

Desired:

• Experience in strategic thinking, effective collaboration, and achievement orientation.
• Skills in benchmarking, cost forecasting, and supplier comparative analysis.
• Ability to develop workflow improvements and critical work instructions.
