The Opportunity 

We are currently on the lookout for an Intern – Cloud Services to join our team. This internship offers practical exposure to Windows/Linux server administration, patching operations, and system reliability in enterprise-scale environments. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist in Windows and Linux server administration (provisioning, configuration, monitoring). 

• Support patching operations – applying OS and application updates, testing patches, validating system health. 

• Help with patch compliance reporting and tracking vulnerabilities. 

• Troubleshoot patching failures and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues. 

• Assist in backup, recovery, and server performance checks. 

• Develop Sysco tools and maintain automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, AWS Lambda, Javascript) for reporting, and monitoring. 

• Support security hardening activities and compliance audits. 

• Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and patch schedules. 

• Gain exposure to cloud-based technologies (AWS Systems Manager, Azure Update Management, AWS, GCP, Azure). 

Requirements 

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 

• Knowledge in Software Development.  

• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux server systems and familiarity with patching concepts (updates, hotfixes, vulnerability remediation) will be advantageous. 

• Understanding of networking basics (DNS, IP, firewall rules). 

• Willingness to learn enterprise-scale patching and systems operations.
