JR62930 SUPPLY NETWORK PLANNER

The Global Supply Management (GSM) team at Micron is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual for the role of the Supply Network Planner. The role is an opportunity for an individual to utilize his or her Supply Chain Knowledge, analytical skill, business knowledge to enable revenue for the company by looking ahead for the constraints and getting it resolved.

In this exciting role:

  • You will Formulate weekly Loading forecast for Internal and external manufacturing contractors to secure sufficient capacity and material allocation for the builds for 6-9 Months Horizon.
  • Collaborate with Assembly and Site Planners to finalize short-term manufacturing execution plan to maximize utilization of constrained resources like capacity, wafers, and raw materials.
  • Audit weekly manufacturing commitment from external contractors to understand risks to supply plan and collaborate with internal stakeholders to devise mitigation plan for the same.
  •  Streamline Factory Loading Forecast generation by refining scope and tasks, eliminating redundancies, and regularly aligning with stakeholders to bring process improvements.
  • Co-Develop strategies for capacity to optimize network loading by balancing the product allocation between internal and external manufacturing sites.
  • Continuous Improvement to drive Optimization for the Network Utilization by looking at Silicon, Material and Capacity Availability.
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders of any risk to build plan.
  • Drive corrective action based on metrics and measures.

The Supply Network Planning team interfaces activity with various teams in Micron, including teams from Global Supply Chain Management, Micron External Manufacturing, Assembly & Test Central Planning, Site Planning etc. in order to remove constraints proactively to build our products on time to meet customer delivery expectation.

Requirements

  • Analytical Approach-Data Driven approach to drive Strategic as well as tactical decisions making, persistent attention to detail and ownership of the Plan.
  • System-Knowledge of Planning systems (JDA/SAP-APO/Kinaxis)
  • Problems Solving skill to find root cause and drive corrective action.
  • Data Analytics-Drive business decisions based on data, hands on advance excel/access , AI/ML
  • Communication-Excellent written and verbal communication as well as presentation and PowerPoint skills
  • Stakeholders Management / Project and Process Management experiences
  • Can Do Attitude-Shown ability to work effectively in a team environment with multi-functional teams and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge – End to end knowledge of supply chain.

Education

  • Master’s Degree / MBA preferred in the field of Industrial Engineering, analytics or Supply Chain/Operations
  • APICS Certified will be an added advantage.
