The Director of Business Strategy, InHome will be responsible for driving our long-term growth strategy. This role sits within the Business team and will work collaboratively with Analytics, Finance, Operations, Product, and Marketing.  The ideal candidate will be innovative, adaptable, strategic, and results oriented.  This individual will have experience in business strategy, data analysis, finance, consulting, or operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain growth models and underlying assumptions to project and monitor performance as InHome expands nationally.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and other key stakeholders to drive key cost savings initiatives to improve the cost to serve our customers.
  • Lead research and sizing of additional revenue generating opportunities for the business.
  • Use data and customer research to identify opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Present data-backed recommendations on long-term business strategy to senior leadership to drive decision-making.
  • Manage the development, prioritization, and execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with team members and partners, work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve objectives, and communicate with influence and inspiration to garner commitment and action.
  • Directly manage a team of direct reports, supporting an environment that supports learning, development, and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications                                                                                             

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or related field and 7 years’ experience in strategy, finance, consulting, analytics, operations, or related area.
  • Structured problem solver with sound business judgment and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrates creativity and strength in the face of change, obstacles, or adversity
  • Adapts to competing demands and shifting priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and excel under pressure
  • Updates knowledge and skills to handle new complexities, challenges, and responsibilities
  • Desire to stay on top of the market, emerging tech, customer trends, and competitors

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 6 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
