Job Description:

Project Manager

Location: Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

The Project Manager is responsible for working with business partners to identify and implement small to medium projects that support achievement of simple to complex unit or corporate goals. Projects may be business and/or technical (software implementation or application updates) in nature. Works with moderate guidance and is responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems. Operates within defined parameters using project management methodology.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Diligence project management:

  • Organize and lead diligence kickoff meetings to communicate deal summary, diligence scope, deliverables, and timelines for all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate recurring stakeholder touchpoints to track diligence completion.
  • Work across CLO functional areas to escalate transaction risks, collect requests for information and resource needs as part of deal model.

Integration project management:

  • Ensure the engagement and collaboration of CLO teams at the right deal-phase.
  • Advise on readiness activities for pre-close, close, and post-close integration; support activity execution; partner with Integration management office progress reporting.
  • Coordinate the integration of resources, processes, and systems with respective functional areas.
  • Collaborate with HR business partner on new resource requests derived from integration-phase findings.
  • Assist with the execution of regulatory filings at all integration phases, ranging from (but not limited to) pre-close regulatory filings to post-close service agreements.

Process improvement:

  • Identify and execute on process improvement and enhance engagement opportunities across deals at all transaction phases.
  • Use digital applications and technology solutions to increase process quality, speed, or transparency.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 3 years professional project management experience, which at least 2 years are spent leading and directing project tasks; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience project managing fast paced, high-priority initiatives spanning multiple functional areas and stakeholder groups.
  • Process improvement background; experience applying structure to complex problems with minimal guidance; track record of using technology/digital applications to improve efficiency; proactive rather than reactive when it comes to continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
