The Role:

 

Medcan is recruiting for a full-time Clinic Flow Coordinator to support the Annual Health Assessment (AHA) Clinic. This role is fully dedicated to clinic flow management and client journey coordination.

 

Flow Coordinators are responsible for actively managing the movement of clients through a same-day, in-clinic preventive health assessment, ensuring efficiency, clinical alignment, and a seamless client experience. The role requires strong situational awareness, confident decision-making, and the ability to balance operational priorities with a high-touch, hospitality-driven approach.

 

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being the central connector between teams.

 

What You’ll Do:

 Clinic Flow

  • Electronically manage and monitor real-time client flow across multiple diagnostic stations during an AHA visit

  • Actively manage and adjust client flow to minimize wait times and optimize clinic capacity, coordinating with physicians, technicians, and clinic teams to address delays, add-on services, and last-minute changes

  • Ensure clients receive maximum value time during their visit while balancing provider availability

  • Monitor and support adherence to service metrics, timing expectations, and clinic standards

Client Experience & Hospitality

  • Deliver a premium, hospitality-driven client experience throughout the client’s clinical journey

  • Anticipate client needs, address concerns, and support service recovery efforts with professionalism, empathy, and discretion, ensuring clients feel heard and supported

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with multidisciplinary clinical teams in real time, escalating issues appropriately and contributing to solutions that support clinic operations and client experience

  • Complete flow-related documentation and administrative tasks as required

 

What You’ll Need :

  • 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, healthcare/hospital operations, or a comparable fast‑paced, high‑volume service environment

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities while delivering exceptional customer service with professionalism, discretion, and urgency

  • Calm, adaptable decision‑maker with strong organizational and communication skills in dynamic clinical settings

  • Education in health, hospitality, or a related field is an asset

  • Comfortable learning new technologies; intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency

This is a full-time position with hours scheduled during business hours Monday through Saturday. The position will be working within the AHA clinic located at 150 York St. Toronto.

Position Pay Range

$47,831.00 - $65,767.25 CAD annually

Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives. ​
