About the Role
The Cashiering Specialist will be the point of contact for advisor’s questions pertaining to money movement issues/questions. This includes but not limited to transfers, check deposits, journals, and beneficiary claims. They will be responsible for providing decisions or pertinent information to advisors as well as reviewing paperwork to make sure it is in good order.
We want to hear from you today if you can:
• Act as an advocate for VFA Broker Dealer by utilizing excellent communication, problem solving, research and analytical skills to assist with complex issues regarding account statuses, balances, account transfers, and general inquires.
• Provide professional, accurate and prompt service to field partners and clients with a sense of urgency at all times.
• Be available to work any shift within our hours of operations (8am-5pm (CST))
What we are looking for
• 2-4 years experience in financial industry or related field.
• Extremely detail oriented
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.
• Organized with the ability to complete multiple task under various deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a fast paced, metric driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize competing task to meet business needs.
• FINRA Series 7, 63 is a plus but not required.
